LIFE-U-SPRINGBOARD: the fourth meeting as part

25 March marked the fourth meeting as part of the LIFE U-SPRINGBOARD project – a platform for change in water supply and wastewater treatment in communities co-funded by the EU. This working meeting was coordinated by the Association of Local Councils "Council of Lviv Region".

The meeting addressed the following key topics:

· Infrastructure challenges: how to modernise networks and treatment facilities in line with European standards.

· Funding: opportunities for securing EU grants for the development of the water sector.

· Cross-border experience: implementation of cross-border projects to improve the water supply.

The event also showcased further opportunities, activities, and practical case studies offered by the LIFE U-SPRINGBOARD project, including the water supply and sewerage infrastructure modernised in Pustomyty, thereby improving the reliability of the water supply, as well as cross-border cooperation projects involving the Solonka community.

As a reminder, the LIFE-U-SPRINGBOARD project is implemented under the LIFE Programme and aims to promote sustainable water supply, modernise water treatment systems, and strengthen the institutional capacity of water utilities and local authorities.
