Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region held the second workshop in the Living Lab: From Idea to Participation series. This one focused on opportunities to participate in Horizon Europe (the EU’s framework programme for research and innovation).
During the meeting, participants discussed the key stages in preparing applications: from finding international partners and forming a consortium to budget planning, calculating person-months, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of preparing an application and to the issues that need to be taken into account as early as the project planning stage.
Horizon Europe opens up opportunities for international scientific and innovation cooperation. Understanding the programme participation rules, project documentation requirements, and the principles governing the development of partnerships helps organisations to prepare higher-quality applications and join European consortia.
The workshop was held as part of the Living Lab initiative, which creates a space for sharing experiences, finding practical solutions, and strengthening the Lviv region’s capacity to capitalise on opportunities for international cooperation.
The event was held as part of the Regional Future funded by the Swiss-Ukrainian project Ukraine’s Cohesion and Regional Development (UCORD) implemented by NIRAS Sweden AB with the support of Switzerland.
