Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region has launched a Living Lab initiative

Dr Ulyana Shchurko was the meeting expert. The workshop was facilitated by Oksana Vasylytsya. Participants learnt about practical tools for securing funding, platforms for establishing international cooperation, and opportunities to participate in grant programmes.

In particular, the workshop covered how to register for and use the European Commission’s Participant Portal, the House of Europe, ISAR Ednannia, the International Renaissance Foundation, and the British Council. Special attention was paid to individual grant schemes such as Fulbright, DAAD, and Erasmus+.

Participants also discussed how to prepare for seeking partners and submitting applications. Required documents include a professional CV, a list of completed projects, and details of any previously secured grant funding. Such preparation helps organisations and specialists to present their experience more accurately and to be ready to take part in competitions.

The Living Lab initiative aims to make the search for international opportunities more systematic and practical. For communities, organisations, and professionals, this is an opportunity to gain a better understanding of grant programmes, find potential partners, and develop their project application skills. In the long term, this knowledge will help to attract new resources and expand international cooperation in the Lviv region.

The event was held as part of the Regional Future funded by the Swiss-Ukrainian project Ukraine’s Cohesion and Regional Development (UCORD) implemented by NIRAS Sweden AB with the support of Switzerland.
