The sixth thematic seminar within the LIFE-U-SPRINGBOARD project has now concluded

The sixth thematic seminar entitled Attracting Funding for Water Infrastructure: Practical Tools and Project Preparation Facility was organised on 5-6 March by the Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region and the Ukrvodokanalekology Association as part of the LIFE-U-SPRINGBOARD project.

Speakers at the event included Ivanna Kachmaryk-Yarema, Grant Projects Manager at the Economic Development Agency PPV, and Volodymyr Vorobey, Director of the PPV Economic Development Agency.

Over the course of two days, seminar participants had the opportunity to learn more about the approach to structuring and planning a development initiative, as well as modelling the final result. The discussion also covered project structuring, funding, and preparation.

Moreover, the seminar provided participants with an opportunity to explore funding programmes and examine examples of their implementation. Detailed project preparation information was shared using PFF case studies.

Participants could ask speakers questions and share their own experiences and opinions. The seminar was held with the expert support of the Economic Development Agency PPV and the institutional support of the Lviv Bureau of European Integration.

As a reminder, the LIFE-U-SPRINGBOARD project is implemented under the LIFE Programme, funded by the European Union, and aims to promote sustainable water supply, modernise water treatment systems, and strengthen the institutional capacity of water utilities and local authorities.
