Organisational and expert support for representatives of local governments, civil society organisations, and initiative groups for community development in the Lviv region.
The Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region organised a series of training sessions on organisational and expert support for representatives of local governments, civil society organisations, and initiative groups as part of the Council of Europe’s Strengthening Democratic Resilience through Civic Participation during the War and in the Post-War Context in Ukraine.
The goal is to establish cooperation between local governments and civil society organisations for the development of communities in the Lviv region.
The training sessions took place in the form of one-day events in such cities of the Lviv region as Pustomyty, Sambir, Zolochiv, Zhovkva and Stryi.
Participants had the opportunity to learn more about public participation tools, forms of support for partnerships between local governments and civil society organisations, opportunities to attract additional funding from international partners, and the preparation of local development projects.
