Dec. 4, 2025

A representative of the Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region participated in the Management Fusion workshops, which took place in Sfântu Gheorghe (Romania) as part of the dancEUA project from 25 to 30 November.

The programme covered topical issues and new approaches in cultural management:
- contemporary management practices in the cultural and dance sectors;
- sustainable development models for cultural institutions;
- the changing role of culture in European policies and the impact of the creative economy;
- the link between intangible heritage and the Sustainable Development Goals;
- the experience of small towns in shaping cultural ecosystems;
- performance and dance art as a tool for expressing and exploring local identity;
- festivals as a factor of structural change in the sector;
- principles of cultural democracy: accessibility, civic participation, territorial equality, inclusion, and support for diversity.

During the workshops, participants also explored how art and culture contribute to emotional resilience and strengthen social ties, and how to scale initiatives and build long-term relationships with communities by engaging local resources.

The Management Fusion programme is implemented within the Contemporary Resilience: Reinventing Dance in Ukraine (dancEUA) project and co-funded by the European Union.
