On 16 December, Iryna Tymechko, Acting Director of the Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region, participated in a strategic session on the governance and development of a rear macro-region held in Lviv.
The event brought together representatives of state authorities, regional administrations, and regional agencies to discuss the state of strategic planning in the oblasts, analyse the productive forces of the regions, and identify priorities for their further development.
Participants in the event examined the experience of strategic planning in the Lviv, Volyn, Rivne, and Zakarpattya regions and the concept of functional types of territories. The key issues and opportunities influencing the development of rear regions in the current environment were also discussed.
