May 8, 2026

Anastasiya Pelekh, a representative of the Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region, participated online in the seventh partners’ working meeting, held in Athens on May 5–6, as part of the SKYLA project.

The meeting focused on learning about the experience of and solutions relating to the twin transition in Athens. It also addressed defining the project outcomes and planning their dissemination during the final semester of the SKYLA project.

The agenda included presentations of the partners’ accomplishments and strategic discussions on the future of vocational education in Europe, as well as visits to modern university laboratories.

The meeting provided an opportunity to learn more about the From Lab to Market initiative at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The presentation was delivered by Antonios Livieratos of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).

The discussion also covered the initiative for in-company staff training implemented under the ROP 2021–2027. Aggelos Spiliotis, the Managing Authority of the Regional Operational Programme of Attica, spoke about this.

At the end of the meeting, all partners discussed the progress of the SKYLA project and the next steps in its implementation.
We would like to extend our special thanks to the meeting organisers and project partners for the insightful discussions, the exchange of experiences, and our joint efforts to develop modern vocational education.

Such meetings strengthen international cooperation and promote the implementation of innovative solutions for the sustainable development of regions.
