International conference within the Shtetl Routes Network Incubator training programme

Sept. 27, 2025

On 26-27 September 2025, a representative of the Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region attended an international conference held in Lublin as part of the Shtetl Routes Network Incubator training programme.

The conference was the final event of the programme, during which participants from Ukraine and Poland presented local initiatives developed and implemented as part of the training. These included projects implemented in cities in the Lviv region. The event became a platform for sharing experiences, discussing challenges in cultural heritage preservation, and seeking new opportunities for interregional cooperation.

During the event, participants engaged in thematic discussions, master classes, communication training sessions, and city tours, and also participated in the Lublin – City of Literature Festival.

Literary routes in Lublin were a special feature of the programme. Through the works of 20th-century writers, participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves more deeply in the history of the city, learn how its communities lived, how they perceived the space around them, and what meanings they attributed to their cultural landscape.

The Shtetl Routes Network Incubator programme is being implemented by the institution Brama Grodzka – Teatr NN as part of the Mi Dor Le Dor Europe project, which aims to preserve and promote Jewish cultural heritage. The project coordinator is AEPJ. The event was supported by the European Union.

We sincerely thank our partners for their invitation and for inspiring us to develop Lviv region through partnerships and new ideas!
