The Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Foundation for Children’s Hospital and Research Institute Nadija, and Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

On 10 October, World Mental Health Day, a tripartite Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Foundation for Children’s Hospital and Research Institute Nadija (Finland), та Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University.

The project involves the construction of a specialised research institute and a modern rehabilitation complex where children will be able to receive both inpatient and outpatient care.

In addition, a virtual hospital will be launched to provide remote consultations and support.

The Foundation will provide approximately €60 million in funding for the project.

The facility will be based on best practices from Finland and will include the use of telemedicine technologies to ensure the accessibility of services.

In order to create favourable conditions for the rehabilitation of children and young people, the Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region has joined an international cooperation within the framework of the project.
