Meeting of SKYLA project partners in Vilnius

The fifth meeting of SKYLA project partners was organised by the European Social Fund Agency in Vilnius (Lithuania) from 8 to 9 April 2025. The event brought together politicians, experts, and innovators in vocational education from across Europe. The meeting focused on discussing innovations in policy and the transformation of vocational education to support the twin transition.

Over two days, participants attended strategic seminars, professional discussions, and expert presentations showcasing best practices and digital solutions in vocational education.

A series of visits to sites showcasing Vilnius’ leading initiatives in vocational training and industrial transformation was one of the most anticipated parts of the event. These included:

• TECHIN — Vilnius Technology and Engineering Training Centre;
• Manufacturing Innovation Valley — a nationally recognised centre for digital innovation leading Lithuania’s digital transformation.

The meeting was an important step in strengthening the cooperation between the project partners and developing a modern, adaptive vocational education system in the regions.
