Throughout August 2025, representatives of the Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region were part of the expert commission of the Selection Committee for evaluating applications within the grant competition under the Dovira project, which is implemented by the Czech humanitarian organisation People in Need with the support of USAID.
The competition aimed to provide microgrants for the restoration of displaced and local businesses affected by military operations after 24 February 2022. Micro and small enterprises operating or planning to operate in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, as well as in selected communities in Harkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolayiv, and Herson regions, were eligible to participate.
As part of the competition, 75 participants received funding of up to $1,000 or $5,000, as well as expert guidance, psychological support, and training.
