On 28 November 2025, specialists from all over Ukraine gathered at the forum Clinical and Pre-Clinical Research in Wartime: Organisation and Prospects for Development, which is being held at the Lviv Art Palace
The Forum is organised by the Ministry of health of Ukraine, the State Expert Centre of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the State Non-Commercial Enterprise Danylo Halytskyi Lviv National Medical University.
The event became a professional platform for all stakeholders working to develop the clinical research system in Ukraine and improve its efficiency, investment attractiveness, and international recognition. Despite the challenges posed by the war, Ukraine maintains a strong position in the field of clinical trials due to the high qualifications of its doctors, the responsibility of its researchers, the strength of its educational and medical institutions, and its adherence to GCP standards.
The announcement of the launch of the Clinical and Pre-Clinical Research Coordination Centre at the University Hospital of LNMU was an important event of the Forum. The Centre will ensure the effective coordination of clinical trials at all stages, from cooperation between departments and hospitals to interaction with sponsors, pharmaceutical companies, and global research organisations.
