On 19 December 2024, the team of the Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region held the first meeting of stakeholders of the JEWELS TOUR project.
The purpose of the meeting was to promote the development of the region’s cultural and tourism potential, preserve its unique heritage, and create new opportunities to attract tourists.
During the meeting, participants discussed ways to integrate the best European practices of heritage valorisation and promotion into local projects and initiatives, as well as to strengthen cooperation between the public, private, and state sectors.
The representatives of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration, the Lviv National Academy of Arts, the West Ukrainian Centre Hillel NGO, the Hesed-Arieh All-Ukrainian Jewish Charitable Foundation, the Ukrzahidproektrestavratsiya Institute, the Tourist Information Centres of Drohobych and Zhovkva, the Brody Museum of History and Local Lore, and the Museum “Following Galician Hebrews” participated in the meeting.
We sincerely thank the participants for their expertise and active participation in shaping a shared vision for the project’s development. The meeting was the first step towards creating a platform for long-term partnership, sharing experiences, and coordination between key stakeholders.
