EURADA & UCORD: Analysing the Best Practices of European Regional Development Agencies

With the support of the UCORD project, the European Association of Development Agencies has researched the best practices of leading regional development agencies in Europe. The focus is on management models, as well as financing and implementing strategic programmes in the context of contemporary regional development challenges and opportunities.

The study analyses the activities of agencies in Scotland, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and Romania and provides an overview of their mission, management, key functions, organisational structure, funding sources, and strategic objectives, highlighting priority sectors and practical examples of programmes that have become growth points for the regions.

The study summarises achievements, best practices, and success factors that can inspire Ukrainian agencies to seek their own solutions and adapt European experience to local realities.
